Scuba Diving At Tulamben Japanese Shipwreck

Welcome to my blog, I have informed to you about restaurants and many others tourist destination such as park and snorkeling place. Now in this great opportunity I would like to inform to you about great place that divers lovers have to visit and diving there, Tulamben.

Tulamben is popular with its great underwater life. It is among the most popular dive sites on Bali since the wreck of the Liberty which was torpedoed by the Japanese off the nearby Island of Lombok and the ship was towed to the beach at Tulamben for salvage operations. The 1963 eruption of Mt. agung, devastated much of the eastern side of Bali, drove the ship into the water just off shore, where it became encrusted with coral and a home to other sea life. The wreck is about 130 m long with the shallowest part at about 5 m deep and the deepest on the other side of the wreck at about 30 m deep.

The most famous of Bali scuba diving spots and the most popular of the Tulamben dive sites, the wreck is now completely covered in healthy coral growth, and the numerous structural holes provide endless opportunities for exploration. Soft corals dominate here, with crinoids, featherstars and hydroids.

Large fish species that frequent the wreck include sunfish, great barracuda, Napoleon fish and scribbled filefish. Reef fish here common to Bali diving are peacock grouper and coral trout, regal angelfish and surgeonfish. Heading back towards shore on your dive you'll see a colony of spotted garden eels, heads swaying as if in a breeze, and goatfish nuzzling through the sandy rubble. There are a lot of various colorful fish and beautiful coral that have a unique shape.
During high-season, up to 100 divers descend to the wreck each day. The fish seems does not afraid with the divers because since small fish until become a big fish a crowd of divers are have been around them, maybe they thought that the divers are kind of fish.
You can start the diving without using boat to go to diving point. You can start your diving from the seashore, because the shipwreck diving point is close enough from the shore.
After diving you may have some rest in the closest cafe in the Tulamben Beach. For diving you have to ask diving company to provide the scuba diving gears and equipment and also accompany you to the Tulamben, thus you can have scuba diving easier and see the beauty of marine life around the Japanese shipwreck in Tulamben.
As we know Bali is known as the Island of God, because Bali has many temple. One of them is Tirta Empul Temple which is one of great tourism destination that has great history of Hinduism and peaceful atmosphere with holy spring water.

The name of the place, its maybe obtained from the name of the holy spring that available in this temple. Etymologically, Tirta Empul means the water that spurt from the ground.
This temple was built on 960 before Christ from the time of the Chandra bhayasingha king from warmadewa dynasty .This temple same as the other temple that have 3 part, the first is called Jaba pura or garden temple, the second is Jaba Tengah, or the center of the temple and the last is Jeroan or the main of the temple.

Pancuran cetik if I translate in English is poison shower and the name of tirta empul it is related with the mythology of the war of Mayadenawa, Batu Anyar king with Bhatara Indra.  In the mythology, Mayadenawa King have a bad attitude and not allow the people to pray to get a blessing from the god. Because of his bad attitude so the god in Indra manifestation get attacking Mayadenawa. The end of the story Mayadenawa can be defeated and runaway until Tampaksiring village. Because of the hurt of Mayadenawa, he made a poison spring that make the army of god of Indra dead after drink the water. Because of that happen the god of Indra getting angry and stick his staff to the ground and the water come out from the ground, and that water used for the army of Indra to rise up, so the army of Indra still alive.
That is the holy spring for bathing that get out from the ground from Indra’s staff. There is 30 shower that can be used for holy bathing to get a blessing from the god and to clean the physical and the spiritual. The water of Tirta Empul is flow to Pakerisan river. And along the river there are some ancient relics.
In the main temple there are archeologists heritage also; the first is the black one, Lingga Yoni. Lingga Yoni is a symbol of worship of the God in Siwa manifestation with his wife Dewi Parwati, the second is Arca Singa. From Hindu mytologhy singa or lion is the vehicle of Dewi Durga, the third is Tepasana. It is a building like a temple, but it’s was restoration on 1967. This Tepasana is a building for God in Indra manifestation that was made Tirta Empul Temple.

One of the tourism potential in East of Bali, Virgin beach or local people call it Perasi Beach is a place that you should visit to spend your holiday. This beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Bali.
But, virgin beach is one of the beaches that not many people or tourists know about the existence of this beach. Virgin beaches is located in east of Bali, in Karangasem regency, Perasi village. The location is about 75 km from Denpasar or about 2 hours trip.

Why beach is called virgin beach, because the beach is very calm, quiet, and comfortable, and not many people know about this beach. Besides the beach is quiet, the water of the beach is very clear and the wave of the beach is not really big, so we can swim and do snorkeling in this beach. In several corner, we can see tourists do sunbathe on the beach shore, and the coconut trees give more peaceful atmosphere. In the south of the beach, there are several fishing boats that are usually used by fishermen for fishing. This beach is not fully for tourism but is still used by the fishermen to work for living. The view of this beach is really beautiful, because this beach is between cliffs which are located behind Bugbug and perasi hill, so the location of the beach is hidden.

The view of the beach is incredible, when you visit the beach, you will have such a satisfaction. This place is suitable for refresh your mind because the condition of the beach is so beautiful and comfortable. There are lot of facilities that available here, such as shops to buy some foods and drink , and large parking lot as well. You can try some delicious seafood that provided here as well. But, it is hard to get in this area, because the condition of the road to get there is not really good, but after being at the beach area will all be paid off by the natural beauty of the virgin beach. This beach can be reached by 100 meters walk from the main road.
The entrance fee to Virgin Beach attraction is relatively cheap, just Rp. 3000 per person. You can do snorkeling here, if you want to. You can rent snorkeling gear for Rp 25.000, it’s cheap right ?. so, you should not hesitate to visit the Virgin Beach. The beach is still natural and suitable as a refreshing ocean with a clear atmosphere is certainly not less interesting to other famous beaches in Bali
